The most difficult aspect of the game to master is Pirateville, and by "difficult" I mean it can be a very long experience if you don't know what you are doing. There are three different starting places to play: Adventureland, Downtown Disney and Tomorrowland, with each having its own strengths and weaknesses. Each of these places has a different set of challenges that are available for each place. These challenges take the form of hidden objects, puzzles, and more. While at first this may seem like an overwhelming amount of different elements to master, it is actually a great deal of fun because each one adds something to the overall enjoyment of the game.
In Pirateville, you will find yourself competing against a wide variety of players. There is a variety of things to do and see in each location, and each place has its own set of things to offer. At Adventureland, you can compete in various types of mini-games, such as bowling, pin the tail on the Donkey, and more. The challenge of this area is quite different from the rest, however, because you get to interact with other players. You can even get to date them, which is an extra bonus! The rewards that you can earn are just as good, with the ability to buy new outfits, hats, shirts, and more.
Downtown Disney takes all of the best elements of Pirateville but adds some of its own unique twists on them. For example, you will notice that the shops and businesses are smaller and more unique than the ones found in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. This is also why they are more expensive. To get all of the items that you want to buy, you need to collect coins, which can be earned from playing the many games that are available in Downtown Disney. You will also need to collect items such as food, hats, shirts, and many more in order to progress through the game. These items can only be obtained by doing the tasks that they are tied to. The rewards are fairly substantial, however, with new clothes, hats, shirts, and much more available for purchase.
